How to Ask for a House Key Back
I met someone who is very sweet but discovered he is not really my cup of tea. I told him that we can't go in a relationship but friendship is OK.
he still have my house keys, and I want them back. I don't really want to spend time with him anymore.
How I can politely ask him for the keys back without hurting his feelings. he is very sensitive guy. I'm having bad thoughts about what he might do if he got very upset about this. the last time I told him I don't want to be in a relationship he stopped eating or sleeping

Tell him straight up you want your keys back, no point beating around the bush

Just tell the guy you want your keys back...

Just ask him for them back because you'd like to have a spare set if you already have a spare set ask and he questions it say you lost them...
Or you could just be straight and say you don't fell comfortable with him having them

It is your keys though, no point being timid about it if you want your keys back you need to tell him

Ask him to post them back, it saves hassle and time, and that way you don't need to care and act as if you're a horrible person cause you won't need to meet him to get the keys lol.
Why did you tell him you want to be friends if you don't want to spend time with him?
If you think it will upset him you could say you need them back because somebody else needs them for some reason.
I think a reasonable person would understand why you want your keys back if you are no longer in a relationship.
Just ask him politely to have them back. It's a pretty reasonable request. Say you need a spare/for someone else, etc
