There was a song back in I recollect the fourscore's where a family was moving and the house was remembering all the good and bad times. For the life of me I can't retrieve the name. Any clue?

Valene - I think that ane's on my Pause Up Playlist. It's badly eye-wrenching. Give thanks you for stopping by!
Valene from Missouri on September 11, 2016:
Wow, what a great listing you lot've made! I always liked that "I can't brand y'all love me" song by Bonnie Raitt, which I judge is more than a pause upwards song than a adieu song.
FlourishAnyway (author) from U.s.a. on September 04, 2016:
Catherine - Y'all take no idea how many times I have the wrong artist and accept to double bank check myself! (That'due south why it takes me and then long to publish these.) Y'all are wonderful but as yous are, lovely Catherine! Don't change a matter.
Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:
FlorishAnyway: Forgive my senility. Now that you mention information technology, information technology probably was Peter Paul and Mary. The airplane role probably caused me to recall Jefferson Plane. I can't trust my memory anymore. I am glad you included it.
FlourishAnyway (author) from Usa on September 04, 2016:
Catherine - A number of artists recorded many of these songs. As for that one, I listed it equally #24 and credited Peter, Paul & Mary, although John Denver could have likewise been mentioned. It does take a very dainty appeal, all these years later! Thank you for sharing your trip down memory lane.
Catherine Giordano from Orlando Florida on September 04, 2016:
Another great playlist. Simply yous left off my favorite "I'k Leaving on a Jet Plane" past the Jefferson Airplane. "So kiss me and say you love me..." It is enduring in my brain considering I was in San Francisco in the "flower-kid" heyday, packed and ready to take a jet plane back to New York Metropolis the next morning time when I first heard that song.
FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on September 02, 2016:
teaches12345 - Thank you for stopping by. Goodbyes can exist lamentable, but the alternative (not having the adventure to say goodbye) is so much sadder. I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend, Dianna!
FlourishAnyway (writer) from USA on September 02, 2016:
Frank - I used to limit myself to 25, 35, or other round numbers only then found speedily that with new releases in that location would always be additional songs then why even start out with such a number? Information technology'll only change as people make expert suggestions and all. It doesn't have much on my part to get ahead and offer greater content in the form of a table either. Hope that answers information technology.
Frank Atanacio on September 02, 2016:
91 songs.. bye songs.. Just curious Flourish.. why the odd numbers? and thanks for the trip down retentiveness lane..:)
teaches12345 on September 01, 2016:
I hate good-byes but they are part of life. Some of the songs are sad but others give one a brighter hope of reunion.
FlourishAnyway (writer) from United states on August 29, 2016:
vespawoolf - It's funny how when yous read the lyrics of an all-too-familiar vocal they can sometimes modify the meaning of the song for you. Cheers for commenting. Accept a not bad week!
Vespa Woolf from Peru, S America on August 29, 2016:
This seems similar an exhaustive list of farewell songs. I've heard some of these songs over and over once more and didn't even realize the lyrics were nigh this theme. I plan to look up some of the unfamiliar songs. Cheers!

FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 26, 2016:
Carb Diva - Thanks. I am and then sorry about the loss of your dear feline friend. I would definitely agree with you well-nigh the importance that pets play in our lives and the grief that their passing involves. I have half-dozen cats now, have ever had multiple cats but recently lost the one I referred to as my "Jesus Christ Cat" because he was such a benevolent and gentle soul. His name was Shepard and he oddly had a neurological disability that mirrored my own MS. We were in the struggle together. He died, however, of cancer of the larynx, crawling upwards adjacent to me one morning to let me know information technology was finally his time. We had him euthanized. I'm so sad that y'all did not have the chance to say goodbye to your sweet baby. They are definitely our children. She knows that you loved her. I hope you are not afraid to love again, equally at that place are so many darling cats who could apply a expert pet mom like you. The ranked list I cite is based on psychological enquiry studies and I bet many people do consider pets as family, every bit you and I practise.
FlourishAnyway (author) from USA on August 26, 2016:
Audrey - I like that too (as in "meet ya never"). Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping by!

So many great tunes in this listing! I love that goodbye can besides exist adept riddance!
Linda Lum from Washington Land, U.s. on August 25, 2016:
Flourish - Another great serial. I really enjoyed this. May I add one more to your list of 'goodbyes' (stressful life events)? The death of a family pet--or maybe that is covered under #3. Our 11-twelvemonth old kitty died 2 years agone from a stroke or heart attack. In an instant she was gone, and there was no time for goodbyes. I still anguish for her.
FlourishAnyway (writer) from USA on Baronial 25, 2016:
Heidi - I would bet that'south soon sometime! Information technology's funny how many unlike playlists you lot tin can come upwardly with for situations. I've added your suggestion. Thank yous!
FlourishAnyway (author) from United states of america on August 25, 2016:
Bill - That'due south one of Garth's all-time. I'm non a fan of him coming in and out of retirement. I recollect he did his best piece of work the get-go time around when he was all in.
FlourishAnyway (author) from U.s. on August 25, 2016:
Susan - The song by Trace Adkins is and so authentic. It's besides bad land doesn't extend much across the US and Canada. Some of it is admittedly awesome, very catchy, oft involving a story. Thank yous for stopping by!
Susan Hambidge from Kent, England on Baronial 25, 2016:
I always enjoy reading your 'songs for every situation' compilations. We don't hear a lot of state tracks here in the Uk but the Trace Adkins one is and so total of emotion and truth, that ane really brings a lump to my throat.
Heidi Thorne from Chicago Expanse on Baronial 25, 2016:
So volition the next playlist be Songs nearly Howdy? :) Another great playlist! Here's my add: Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." Have a great day!
Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on August 25, 2016:
The Dance was my number ane. Fun series, as I've said many times before. You and I are on the same wavelength with many on these lists. Smashing minds and all that. :)
